Naltar Valley Lakes

The Nalter Valley is located in the northwest of Gilgit-Baltistan, the 5th province of Pakistan {gateway to the world} and {mountain settlement}  It is 40 km (25 miles) from the city of Gilgit across the North Valley•

Nelter Valley - Fairyland Nelter  It is 40 km (25 miles) across the general valley from the city of Gilgit and has an elevation of 4,678 meters (15,348 feet).  The Nelter Valley is famous for its beauty and high lakes.  It is the most visited area for travelers across the Silk Road, KKH (Karakoram Highway) and now CEPC (China-Pakistan Economic Corridor).  People said this is the real paradise.  That is why every year more than fifty thousand visitors come to see its beauty and enjoy the summer vacation season.  In the winter season, the National Skating Championship is held on January 1 every year at the end of February.  A Brief History of the Niltar Valley It is said through ancient history that the Niltar Valley was the first discovered village and birthplace of the Gilgit Valley. <The ancient people of Gilgit were hunters and shepherds• They lived in the jungles. They used meat and butter only as food to survive.  By the time people scorned and migrated to the cities, they had learned everything about the world.  Valley Nalter is famous for many reasons but here are some of the reasons I have covered.  1. Snow-capped mountains The mountains of the Nelter Valley are covered with snow in both summer and winter.  There are two peaks in the Nelter Valley.  Maharbani Peak or Palo Peak and the width of this peak is about 6363.  Meters.  This mountain range is associated with the Karakoram color.  Shani Peak is a mountain south of Nelter.  It is located west of Snow Dome and northwest of Kindness Peak.  To the east it flows towards the Shani Glacier Nalter Valley and the width of this peak is approx.  At 5,029 meters, this peak is also called Khaltar peak.  The.  When the valley is fully flowered in summer, the Nelter Valley begins to open in late March after the snow has cleared.  The main attraction of Nalter Valley is the lush greenery and covered forest which is completely covered by mountains.  And the flow from the north to the center of the vegetables to the south.  It is also an important place of attention.  al.  Nelter Lakes Nelter Valley is full of wonders.  The Nelter Valley has three beautiful lakes known as the Nelter Lakes.  Lake Rainbow (Fish Lake) is at an altitude of 3050–3150 meters.  Rainbow Lake is located 12 kilometers (08 miles) from Upper Nalter (or Nelter Bala). Road conditions are not better than Naltar Bala.  Inland Lake.  The lakes are surrounded by dense pine forests, making it almost impossible to reach these lakes by any vehicle due to heavy snowfall during the winter.  There is a Blue Star Lake which is about 1 km north of Rainbow Lake to Blue Star Lake.  Rainbow Lake - The quality of this lake is that it is very blue and the depth is very deep.  The third lake is also known as Bodroco Lake, which means Dust Black Lake. Lake Bodroco is located at a distance of 0 to 15 km from Naltar Bala.  Located at the top of the quota.  Kota is the name of a place that is covered with mountains.  4. Valley Nalter has beautiful culture and people culture and unique history.  There are two villages in Nelter, Nalter Pan and Nelter Bala and two ethnic groups in which different languages   are spoken, including Sheena and Gujri.  100% for boys and 89% for girls.  Gil.  <The longest chairlift in Gilgit-Baltistan's Nalter Valley is home to all skiing activities in Pakistan• People can't afford sketching equipment because it is so expensive.  The ski chairlift has been installed at a length of 1.5 km and is now open to the public.  Peace.  Peace Nelter Valley is a peaceful valley, the people of Nelter are friendly, loving and caring and the people of Nelter warmly welcome a guest.  Gilgit-Baltistan and the beauty of the army are also due to the government.  7. The climate in the Nelter Valley is temperate during the summer months.  In July-August the temperature reaches a maximum of 22. C.  If you are looking for a milder summer season during your vacation, spend more time in the area above the Nile or the lakes as it is much cooler even in summer.  N. Nalter Hydropower Projects The government has recently built 18 MW Hydro Power Plant IV near Nelter Pine, near Nelter Pine, in addition to two small hydel power plants.  The plant (Nelter I, 2.28 MW joint) is already there, to meet the power needs of the area along with Gilgit.  The Nelter III and Nelter-V hydropower projects are under construction to generate 16 MW and 14 MW, respectively.  9. Wildlife If you want to see some of the rarest wild animals, you can find them in the Naltar Valley.  Lolita Park is famous for the port of Markhor and the Nelter Lolita Park is home to the Snow Leopard.  10. International Ski Shield This resort is located 40 km northwest of Gilgit.  It also serves as a central facility for the Ski Federation of Pakistan.  ○It also hosted the 2016 Karakoram Alpine Ski Cup•  Nalter is the oldest ski resort in Pakistan, however, Malam Jabba is relatively less known and less developed than the ski resort.  The biggest obstacle to the development of Nelter is the dilapidated condition of the road from Gilgit to Nelter.
