Rush Lake







Rush Lake is a high-altitude lake located in the village of Hopper in the valley of the former state of Gilgit-Baltistan.  Located at an altitude of <4,500 meters above sea level•

Rush Lake (Urdu: رش جھیل) is a high altitude lake located near Nagar Pari, Peak in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan.  At 4,694 meters (15,400 feet), Rush is one of the highest alpine lakes in the world.  It is located about 15 km (9 miles) north of Mayar Peak and Spantik (Golden Peak) in Nagar Nagar.  It is the highest lake in Pakistan and the 27th highest lake in the world.

<Rush Lake and Rush Peak reach Nagar and Valley Hopper via Hopper Glacier (Boleter Glacier) and Meyer Glacier• which rises from the Mayar and Fuprush peaks.  The track leading to Rush Lake offers views of Spantik, Malubit, Myar Peak, Fuprash Peak and Altar Sar
