Lake Chaucer is an ornament of Devosai National Park. Located at the far end of Deosai National Park (towards Chelam Chowki), Shivsar is a large lake at an altitude of 13,589 feet above sea level. Shawsar Lake (also called Shasar Lake) is a lake located in Deosai National Park in Gilgit-Baltistan Province, Gilgit-Baltistan Province, North Pakistan. It is located at an altitude of 4,142 meters (13,589 feet). The lake is accessible in two ways. One via Skardu and the other through Astor district. The road passing through Skardu can be covered in a few hours by jeep, however, if tracked; This may take up to 2 days. The other route is from Astor district. From the main town of Estor, the last residential area connected to the plains, it takes about 4 hours by jeep to reach Chilam by a semi-metal road. Between November and May, the Dewasi area is covered with snow. During the spring, the surrounding area is covered with a variety of flowers and butterflies. Most visitors to the lake are in the summer between June and early September

The Раkistаn gоvernment's оffiсiаl сhrоnоlоgy сlаims this аs the time when the fоundаtiоn оf Раkistаn wаs lаid but the соnсeрt оf Раkistаn саme in 19th сentury.
