Soon Valley









Soon is a Sanskrit word which means beautiful.  Saksir is a mixture of Saki and Sar.  Saki belongs to Saki or Buddha.  And essence means pond.

Soon Valley; is located in Khushab District, Punjab, northwest of Pakistan.  Its largest population is the town of Nowshera.  The valley stretches from the village of Padharar to Saxar, the highest peak in the salt range.  The valley is 35 miles {fifty six km} long and has an average width of 9 miles {14 km}.  It covers an area of   3 hundreds square miles {780 km2}•  Soon there is natural beauty in the valley, which includes lakes, waterfalls, forests, natural ponds and ponds.  <The Valley has been inhabited since °ancient times• including the Awan tribe, whose descendants still live in the valley.  The Punjab government built a road from Noorwala to Nowshera in recognition of the services of the natives of the Son Valley during the First World War.  Sir WM Haley, Governor of the Punjab, formally opened the road on April 1, 1928 - when the plates between Khushab and Saxer entered the hills.

Many of the valley's inhabitants belong to Arab tribes (unconfirmed information).  Islamic culture and traditions are common.  Methods include, according to Islamic tradition, married weddings, where the wedding takes place in a mosque.  The marriage involves the bride and groom's close ones, relatives, and friends.  Usually men and women are separated, either sitting in a separate room or separated by a veil.

When music is often played on drums and shehnai obo, Lodhi is a folk dance for occasions of celebration.

Bhanbhor, Pakistan

Banbhore or Bhambore is an ancient city dating to the 1st century BC located in Sindh, Pakistan.  The city ruins lie on the N-5 National Highway, 65 km (40 mi) east of Karachi.
