Kharfaq Lake










Kharfaq Lake is also called Riochug Tso in the local language.  It is located at an altitude of approx 13000 ft in the south-east of Kharfaq Village, 22 km short of Khaplu.  It's a fascinating lake that is surrounded by high mountains from all sides. Kharfaq Lake is a high altitude natural lake located in the Karakoram mountain range in Kharfaq, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan.  The best month for tourist to see the lake is the July and August.  The water of the lake is starting increasing in May and reached it maximum level in the middle of July.  In winter season the snow covers the whole lake in its whiteness and gives beautiful view.  Kharfaq is a small village of Ghanche district, almost 75 km away from skardu.  The lake is situated 2 hours walk away from the village. As you move towards the lake, you will find yourself in the middle of amazing vistas.  While navigating a slope, you are accompanied by a noisy stream, spraying water into the air, here and there, while snaking around turns and cuts,An amazing feeling.

Bhanbhor, Pakistan

Banbhore or Bhambore is an ancient city dating to the 1st century BC located in Sindh, Pakistan.  The city ruins lie on the N-5 National Highway, 65 km (40 mi) east of Karachi.
