Umalsat Valley

Umalsat is a remote village in Tehsil Yasin, Ghizer District, Pakistan, situated at the extreme north of Pakistan. Next to this village, is the extreme north of Pakistan bordering with Afghanistan through broghul belt.To reach Yasin one must take the Karakoram Highway north from Islamabad, and then turn left to reach Gupis in Ghizar. Yasin was originally ruled by the Khushwakhte Dynasty, a collateral line of the Katur Dynasty of Chitral. The Rajas of Yasin were great warriors and fought against the Sikhs and the Dogras of Kashmir, but this house eventually lost power and the ownership of Yasin changed hands several times between the rule of the Mehtar of Chitral, and the Maharaja of Kashmir.

Kargah, Yshani

Kargah Buddha locally known as YĘ‚hani is a Buddha carved in a cliff just outside the city of Gilgit, Pakistan. The Buddha is carved image of a large standing Buddha with his right hand raised forward i.e. in the posture of A Bhaya (No fear or protection). The archeological sites dates back to 6th to 8th century AD According to the archeologists the carving was completed in the 7th century. It was discovered in 1938–39, following the innovation of supposed Gilgit manuscripts in 1931. During the 8th century the Gilgit city was inhabited by Buddhist and was in controll of China, however later a legend was associated with the Buddha. According to the legend, the figure is actually a man-eating giantess or witch (yakhshini or ya-chaani or yacheni) who terrorized the local residents and was ultimately pinned to the cliff by a pir (holy man) as punishment. Rainbow Lake

Rainbow is located near Lake Duster, a village in the Mani Meng Valley, a remote valley in Astor District.  Rainbow Lake is a small lake but it has no shortage of beauty.  Feeding freshwater rivers from the surrounding mountains, The lake is one of the most beautiful lakes in the world, with lush wild meadows covered with lush meadows.  A beautiful and wonderful place that grows even more romantic under the deep gray sky.  Domel had a natural lake called the Rainbow Lake.  The water from these lakes came from a winter glacier that was still standing on the slopes of the mountains.  Lake Rainbow is 15 km from the Chilam check post.  As you walk through the jungle, you will see a rainbow hut in the distance.

Karambar Pass

Karambar Pass - Located at a distance of 4,300 meters, this river in the Hindu Kush connects the Yarkhon Valley in Upper Chitral with the Karambar River in Ashkan of Ghazir District.Krambar Pass (e.g. 14,250 feet) is a high mountain pass in Pakistan.  It connects the Yar Khan River in the Upper Chitral River in Ashkuman Tehsil, Ghazir District, Hunza Valley.  Sometimes it is misspelled, such as Crumber or Crumber Pass. It is one mile west of Karambar Lake and miles south of Dopsuk Peak (48 574848 m) which is an important point of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Pakistan Kashmir.  Mumtaz Brugol Pass is located 15 miles west of the pass.  Initially, to the southeast, the Crumb River flows out of Lake Krambar.  To the south of Amit, it is known as the Ashkuman River and joins the Ghazir River at Gahkoch to become the Gilgit River. 

Shandoor top

Located at an altitude of 12,500 feet (38,000 meters) above sea level, Shandor Top is famous for being the highest polo ground in the world.  It is sometimes called the roof of the world.  It is located in Ghazir District, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan.  The version of the polo game played at the Shandor Polo Ground is considered clean by all.  It is also called freestyle polo. Shandor can be reached from Gilgit and Chitral.  It is about 197 197 km (122 miles) from Gilgit and 147 km (91 miles) from Chitral.  When coming to Shandor from Gilgit, one can see the charming valleys of Gahkoch, Gopis, Fandars and many beautiful lakes.  When you come from Chitral, you can see the beauty of Mastuja and Surlasp valleys. Sheoser Lake

Lake Chaucer is an ornament of Devosai National Park.  Located at the far end of Deosai National Park (towards Chelam Chowki), Shivsar is a large lake at an altitude of 13,589 feet above sea level. Shawsar Lake (also called Shasar Lake) is a lake located in Deosai National Park in Gilgit-Baltistan Province, Gilgit-Baltistan Province, North Pakistan.  It is located at an altitude of 4,142 meters (13,589 feet).  The lake is accessible in two ways.  One via Skardu and the other through Astor district.  The road passing through Skardu can be covered in a few hours by jeep, however, if tracked;  This may take up to 2 days.  The other route is from Astor district.  From the main town of Estor, the last residential area connected to the plains, it takes about 4 hours by jeep to reach Chilam by a semi-metal road.  Between November and May, the Dewasi area is covered with snow.  During the spring, the surrounding area is covered with a variety of...

Chita Katha Lake

Alpine Glaciers Lake the most beautiful lake of Pakistan, located in Shunter valley at height of 13500ft, called Chitta Katha due to its white waters maybe because of lime, heaven for trekkers and travelers around Pakistan. Most of the area constitutes glaciers and one walks on them unknowingly adding to the attraction of the locale. The lake is the last thing to be seen by a visitor owing to its very high location.
